I honestly can't tell if you're joking but Kamala lost because her policies were fascism light instead of anything representing the working class. If the Dems want working people's vote they have to do something for them, not just say "I'm not Trump".

I voted blue but completely get why people wouldn't, lessor of two evils is still evil. If the only thing a system has to offer is evil then it's time for that system to collapse, simple as that

Yeah, I grew up in Midwestern redneck culture and it's not the union boys singing solidarity forever and shooting at Pinkertons in the mountains anymore.

They all somehow equate being pro-labor as being pro-capital, like they've swallowed the Reagan coolaid so hard they completely switched ideologies.

And they are how of the most horrid, hate filled people's that exist. They hate for the sport of it.

This is all based completely on my own biased experience, and hopefully is less true with Mango Mussolini betraying them more everyday, but to get to the heart of it as far as I can see ur an leftists are not allies with rural rednecks because the rednecks completely sold out their values for... nothing in return

Guess what you're all accomplices too?!

Yeah all these people are acting like there was a 'Stop Fascism' button we just decided not to press which is just ignorant. It's easy to be Mr. TearTheSystemDown from behind a keyboard an ocean away. If it really affects them so much and is so easy why not just come over and do it yourself?

I mean foot traffic being down for eight weeks in a row and then struggling financially is pretty much proof it's working, right? We knew we wouldn't bankrupt them in a few minutes, we're trying to get their attention.

Also - as far as the reason you've not heard much about it, corporate media doesn't wanna show people the power they have. It's simple.

I forget what it's called but the inspector 5 episode cut me pretty deep

Wouldn't Trump just pardon them?

Howdy folks - comrade here in Northern Chicago. New to Lemmy so if I do something wrong I'm sorry bout that.

I'm fairly involved in mutual aid, so if you feel like you need some help with getting started please feel free to message me. I can recommend groups in chi / cinci or help research groups in your area.

As Seahorse aptly mentions in the first pinned post - now is the time for organizing! As long as we don't give into despair we got this!
