while poverty may inspire / force people to act in ways that oppose their government, employers, etc., I don’t think the condition of being in poverty is a form of resistance, as poverty is a necessary product of capitalism.

alternatively, I think spending / consuming less and sharing more may qualify as acts of resistance, since they place power outside of extractive systems.

I’m currently a line cook, considering making the switch, but I’m a little confused about where to start. A local community college offers some certs that seem promising.

I have a little relevant background, a minor in comp sci, but that was some years ago (trying to relearn some of the material in my spare time now).

Thank you for all the tips! I am storing the files both on a separate drive and on my mac, so I'll try setting my phone to sync to that external drive :)

Pretty much the title.

I have a large library of music that I've ripped from CDs. I don't really have space left on my macbook air, but I have a bunch of space on my iPhone still. Is there any way to load that music into my iPhone's version of iTunes without keeping it stored in duplicate on my laptop?

Seeing the official website states that the client is "barely supported," I'm wondering, is it worth using a different one?
