I have three browsers (all Firefox-based): 1) Javascript OFF; 2) LibreJS and JShelter addons; 3) Default. Ans this is the priority when accessing websites.
Brother, don't use Whatsapp. It's a privacy nightmare. It stores your messages unencrypted on Google/Apple servers.
First time hearing about this license. This is free, too. So good job for changing it!
I will wait for Motorola.
Motorola will release a phone with GrapheneOS in 2027, it would be a good pick.
People have strange and strong brand loyalty for proprietary things. It's like a culture for them. I have seen it especially on iPhone and Whatsapp. Not only they refuse to use alternatives (Android; RCS/Signal/XMPP etc.). They will think you are a loser if you don't use them. Or, even worse, will try to convince you to use them and that those are the best and anything else is a shit. I believe it's the same for social media. So good luck!
In 2027, Motorola will realease a phone with GrapheneOS preinstalled. So no Google phone.
Reddit is proprietary and centralized. Lemmy is free and federated. That's why I love Lemmy.
I don't have Whatsapp and I will never use it. If people don't want to use Signal, Telegram, XMPP, Matrix, SimpleX, or Delta Chat, we will talk over RCS/SMS.
Great news for vegan community. I hope other countries will do the same.
Using non-free (proprietary) software and believing we are free to do anything we want with the software. But we can do only what the app (the devs) let us to do. We can't see or edit the code of program to run as we wish.

I got you, I'm sorry for that. Currently, there are only web wrappers, like ZapZap. There have been clients, but when Meta finds them, it will ban you and try to block the app.
