Australian nazis like Tom Sewell are the gym-going variety, so I have a hard time believing that they are planning a terrorist attack. What are they going to do? Punch some guy in the head during a street fight?
The writers of these articles don't understand hypocrisy. More muslims have been killed by our own soldiers than by people like Brenton Tarrant. I'm seriously concerned that we have forgotten what happened after 9/11.
BTW I was permanently banned (for a second time) from NZ reddit hahaha. I suggested that NZ politicians are historically and geographically illiterate, and that they base their decisions on ideals rather than facts. I also wrote about the BRICS expansion, which won't be formalised until January 2024.
NZ reddit....... A person can ask where to find drugs, hookers, or an open-minded doctor who will assist with a rectal prolapse, but if I suggest that our politicians are idiots, and that the "rules based order" is collapsing, then I get banned under rule 11 for "contentious" content. I can imagine what these reddit moderators must look like. A bunch of clowns, goofy looking beards, drinking craft beer and pretending to be intelligent. I'm so tired of their dry, boring political discussions. I hope New Zealanders pay attention to international stuff.
I try to explain to people that there's no such thing as rules or justice, under international politics. Taking sides is also BS. I met a Ukrainian guy from Kharkiv while I was buying gloves in a safety shop, and this guy was talking about travelling from Kharkiv to Vladivostok on the train (8 days travel time). He didn't even mention the war. A lot of good things happened during Soviet times (excluding the 1930s when Stalin genocided the Ukrainians lol)
I aim to visit Ukraine, Russia and maybe Poland sometime in the future. I refuse to rabidly hate an entire country just because I don't agree with something in the politics. New Zealanders should wake up, pay attention and see what we can gain from these countries if we keep an open mind and stay out of politics as much as possible.
When I watched "Only 'Old Men' Are Going To Battle" I ended up reading all about the director. So, Russian language film, but 2 Ukrainian actors, one of whom was the director: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leonid_Bykov
There's a whole lot of Ukrainian videos on YouTube about this guy. From what I could gather, some people thought he could have made more Ukrainian language films, and sadly, his career was cut short in a car crash on the way from Minsk, to somewhere in Ukraine. Leonid Bykov is a gigachad, and a great place to start when learning about Ukrainian things.
