Yes and the 6th mass extinction event is well underway. Still, the planet's life forms bounced back before and will do so again, I guess.

It's a useful skill to have. It's a more useful skill to know when not to apply it.

People pissing all over toilet seats annoy me to no end. Sit down you filthy heathens.

Don't worry, the planet's gonna be fine.

Humanity on the other hand...

urxvt is also relevant for this combo.

Nginx is FLOSS, too so you'd need to compare Apache to IIS and that is just unfair.

I think nginx is the better web server but what do I know, I mostly use python3 -m http.server for my immediate needs.

No.

There is no debate because vim is the superior editor, period.

Right now Germany appears a lot safer than the US and a lot of us will fight to keep it that way.

If you don't know where to go have a look here.

(Disclaimer: just an ally, not trans myself. I "only" have some trans friends.)

Guess what, not everyone lives in the US. We still have freedom of speech and this is legally relevant as a defense against the government. You can't force a private company or club or whomever, really, to give you a platform.

Maybe this comic will help you understand.

If you're in the EU have a look at Art 15&17 GDPR. I'm so gonna have fun with them...

You either ban Nazis and similar assholes or your community will be overrun by them, causing the good people to leave.

Prime example: Twitter right now.

The "muh free speech" "argument" doesn't hold in light of the fact, that this is a privately owned and operated platform at the full discretion of the admins. Free speech is a right to defend people from the government, not to enable every asshole to spew their shit into everyone's feed.
