You misunderstand power. Imagine the support for a facist military coup if the right wing couldn't vote.

As someome who is trans, yes these people are kind of my enemy (given declarations of violence), but there needs to be a way to rebuild trust within them so they aren't so pyschotic. That is, to engage in politics. Doesn't mean you should nice about any bigotries they have, and in fact point them out continously and condemn it.

The other option, is some level of violence. Not nice, and I would like you to consider the fact that facists love violence, so we aren't gonna win that way.

Edit: just fixed a sentence.

I see what your saying, its just my friends have no interest in signal (tried a few times) so messenger is a compromise.

Hmmm ok. I did talk to my brother and he has the same thing, and as far as im aware he isnt autistic/ADHD. Our parents argued a lot so maybe its from that lol

In my previous relationship we did that, as my ex was even more conflict adverse, so we decided arguments can take as long as we want (could transition the argument to text).

It worked well enough I suppose.

But yeah, it doesnt pop up much

Hellooo!

I was wondering if anyone else experiences this.

During some sort of argument or really just discussing anything with emotion, my emotions become overwhelming. My voice start shaking, I cry and I am quickly unable to speak. Not great for relationships. This also causes me to go to great lengths to avoid conflict.

Is this a typical in autistic folk? Or is it unrelated? I am just looking to try and explain whats happening

Oh yeah i just mean delete the app to make me stop looking at it. It was an addiction for me. Well, not facebook but instagram was.

There is an end to end encrypted feature, with a 6 digit pin to decrypt the keys I believe. a 6 digit pin isnt the most secure, but its better then nothing for typical conversations.

Annoyingly there is a feature that u can summarise texts with using AI, which ofc breaks privacy, but u can turn off message sharing (meaning you and the other person can no longer do that)

A few glaring alarm bells around privacy on messenger, but again, better then nothing.

The toxicity of instagram and the hollow content on facebook made me delete them. I still have messenger however, since convincing people to install signal is difficult, and also it is useful to communicate with new friends (considering the alternative is unencrypted sms)

But wow its so good to be off it

Interest rates are one lever that can be pulled to try and produce an effect to control inflation/unemployment/economic growth. Ignore any advocation for removing it.

Imo tho, we have relied far too much on it to get us out of economic crisis (i.e. covid, where interest rates were 0.1% and then looots of inflation afterwards). A good budget goes a much further way to solve it and its effects are long term.

Sometimes when I notice a particularly dysphoric thing in a man (i.e a beard) I cant help but think "how the hell do you put up with that??" So yeah, I very much project, however I've been conciously stopping since it isnt good for me nor the random man whom I am judging.

Naturally as I transition, I am thinking about what I should name myself.

So far:

Lilly - just like the ring of it.

Stella - really like this one. It means star in latin so thats cool, and I think it suits me.

Sophie - thinking about naming myself after the 1700s/1800s mathematician sophie germain. I'm obsessed with maths so it suits me on that level, but tbh I still like stella more.

Anyway, thats it!

Came out to my mum, but will need to at some point come out to my dad.

Problem is, my dad, is straight up chronically online and is transphobic. Maybe not quite michael knowles transphobic but he thinks the whole thing is ridiculous and is just a fetish.

I'm planning to come out to my brother (who definitely isnt transphobic) before hand, to get as much "backup" as possible. My mum is ok with it so i have backup there lol.

Im considering just not telling him until ive moved out, so that I dont have to put up with him but idk, thats probs far out (at least a year)

Help :(

Wanted to say hello 🖐 and ask if anyone else has experience this.

I started estrogen very recently, and I've noticed that I am more tired than usual, and a little dizzy?? (Could be unrelated ofc). Wondering if anyone has also experienced this?

I did some basic online research, and it does seem to be a thing. I will of course mention this to my doctor if it keeps ongoing.
