The ADL is likely giving a calculated response because of what happened last time Nazis took over a western country. It’s really sad that people are letting Nazis take over the US over what seems to be fear of AI and influx of immigrants from LatAm countries.

Couple this Nazi bullshit with what the Trump admin said yesterday about Israel having a biblical right to the land in the West Bank, it’s clear the plan is to eventually “gently encourage” Jewish “immigration” from the U.S. to Israel. Because Nazis don’t have any principles per se, and people like that especially don’t care about the Bible. Sadly, it seems that American conservatives are essentially Nazis now.

You’re right that no one is an angel or god, no one has perfect knowledge and as such cannot hand out perfect justice. That’s what I am saying, essentially. As soon as people create authoritarian systems, of any kind, they become adherents to one singular way of thinking. That’s the problem.

Idk, some leftist people (including minorities) are energized and motivated, so it’s important not to get stuck in some weird self-defeating trap. Political up and downs happen every generation. Don’t fall for the doomer BS, it’s important to keep following through with your personal goals and persevere. Find a community and volunteer, take care of each other.

Ultimately people should seek to close gaps with others, and try to find common ground, while acknowledging that there are some values which cannot be compromised, like sacrificing someone’s humanity and (personal/psychological) safety.

I am tired of what feels like emotional blackmail by hardliners who insist that their biased opinions are definitive progressivism, or that they are the arbiters of truth or justice. But continue being wrong, it’s just you losing credibility 🤷‍♀️ Truth and justice require a principled and unbiased approach towards morality, ethics and philosophy.
