Switch? Na it was a load bearing hub.
UK has the NHS so they don't need to pay any medical bills. They will fire them for not working from the hospital bed instead.
I recently came across a windows 7 machine that someone wanted updated. First thing I did was clone it to an SSD.
Wow I forgot how fast windows 7 boots with one. That was even still on the old hardware.
In the end it was only one piece of software that you could get online, so we went with the fresh install.
I once saw someone get an ad for the new phone as a notification on their current one. They had never had a notification from Samsung like that before. At that point I knew they would build in advertising for all their other products in to the products.
I have never bought a Samsung device since. Some people I know live them, but it put me off so much.
I kind hated whenever i was looking at solutions to running pc game pass games on my steam deck, everyone was like: "install edge it works on Linux, that will let you stream the game."

That is probably for safety. If you microwave water without anything for it to nucleate on, then it can be liquid above the boiling point. If you then put a tea bag in, it will explode into steam in your face.
I tell non techy people to use a physical book that they can secure. People know how to do hide things or put them in a safe. Digital security is harder to understand and I would say a book in a safe place is way better than reusing passwords they find hard to remember.
So no change whatsoever then? Ever since it released windows 10 patch testing has been "release to end user and see what the complaints are."

Classic tactic, approve one thing, then slowly make amends to something that would not be approved. If it's gradual then each change is a minor adjustment so they don't need to seek re approval or notify anyone.
