Didn't Google used to have Pixel Pass where you get a new phone every 2 years? Then they killed it before the 2 year cycle was up?

Imaging companies promising you a new phone after 2 years and then canceling the program at 22 months and then said oops, here $50 store credit...

I have it behind OAuth.

And then a reverse proxy via NPM.

I don't know what else to do on it aside from keeping it fully VPNed.

If your item breaks without physical evidence, for example ram dying, swap it with a new one via Amazon.

I have 3 main NASes

78TB (52TB usable) hot storage. ZFS1

160TB (120TB) warm storage ZFS2

48TB (24TB) off site. ZFS mirror

I rsync every day from hot to off site.

And once a month I turn on my warm storage and sync it.

Warm and hot storage is at the same location.

Off site storage is with a family friend who I trust. Data isn't encrypted aside from in transit. That's something else I'd like to mess with later.

Core vital data is sprinkled around different continents with about 10TB. I have 2 nodes in 2 countries for vital data. These are with family.

I think I have 5 total servers.

Cost is a lot obviously, but pieced together over several years.

The world will end before my data gets destroyed.

I have a 7840U with a 55HWr battery. I can squeeze out 7 hours. If I'm power using then 5-6 is typical. With the 63WHr battery, you'll get about 15% more time with it.

That's too long. We should change it to.... wait...

You know, I've always attributed it to wifi shenanigans. Never crossed my mind that it was a hardware fault.

Thankfully in my household I have a rule, if it's not handheld, it's s wired. So thankful we don't have much issues with it

I have a two button flashlight. One button to change settings and one to turn on and off. It has memory so it uses the last setting used that's not strobe or the highest setting

My passphrase includes several spaces. It's another character to assist in entropy.

Woah, which countries?

I've traveled quite a lot and no one has even bothered me about my size.

The latter.

I have 2 types of cables. USB 2.0 100w PD capable cables and USB 4 cables.

The USB 4 cables are too heavy to travel with so I have many more USB 2.0 PD cables.

I also have a sprinkling of USB 3.0 compliant A to C cables.

I throw away all the included USB 2.0 A to B to avoid mixups.
