The wifi dongle was demonstrated via the Steam Machine in the "first look" videos.

It'll work in Linux.

Republicans! Your right wing media is already trying to pick your candidates for you.

Which is normal, actually. You pretty much always believe whatever TF they say and get mad at whoever TF they want. That's how right wing media works. Which group are you mad at today, again? It's Sunday, so... Transgender people, I think? It'll be immigrants on Mondays and Muslims, specifically on Tuesdays. Wednesdays are for Democrats, Thursdays for "the liberal media" (which doesn't actually exist; all major commercial news is owned by billionaires), and Fridays are for human interest stories like "the plight of the White South African". Saturdays are reserved for total bullshit (e.g. election fraud, "vaccines are bad!") and conspiracy theories (e.g. Seth Rich, Pizzagate).

Anyway, which would you prefer?

  • A shitstain on the carpet
  • A shitstain on the couch

Neither will prioritize what you care about but they'll both tell you they're going to protect your gun rights and that they're such pious Christians—the type that don't believe in caring for the sick, the poor, and hoard wealth. In other words, they're trying to convince you that they're just like you!

Are they right?

Yes, but what illegal experience does he have? Without that, I fail to see how Trump would consider him qualified!

Have you tried using an LLM configured to search the Internet for you? It's amazing!

Normal search: Loads of useless results, ads, links that are hidden ads, scams, and maybe on like the 3rd page you'll find what you're looking for.

AI search: It makes calls out to Google and DDG (or any other search engines you want) simultaneously, checks the content on each page to verify relevancy, then returns a list of URLs that are precisely what you want with summaries of each that it just generated on the fly (meaning: They're up to date).

You can even do advanced stuff like, "find me ten songs on YouTube related to breakups and use this other site to convert those URLs to .ogg files and put them in my downloads folder."

Local, FOSS AI running on your own damned PC is fucking awesome. I seriously don't understand all the hate. It's the technology everyone's always wanted and it gets better every day.

One thing for certain, Microsoft will not stop using Copilot to develop their software in house.

You're wrong, but I think you'll be OK with that because the reality of the situation is actually hilarious:

"Turns out Copilot sucks so let's just use our competitor's superior product but that's no reason we can't keep foisting the inferior garbage on the masses!"

Mercedes and BMW surprised that their vastly superior vehicles are selling well.

The right is made out of hate. That's how they got there and it's also what keeps them there.

To suggest otherwise is to disrespect their position! Do we blame villains for villainy? No! We fight them.

It created a lot of jobs. It just didn't get the usual network effects of having a lot of people employed because they were all incentivized to stay working at these big tech firms.

The solution is to make it easier for said tech employees to form their own tech startups using local talent. That way they're likely to break away from US tech and forge their own paths.

I don't know what the situation in Ireland is for starting such business but clearly it isn't in great shape. The government obviously focused on the big players at the expense of the small (local) ones.
