“Unclear about injuries. But Fox is told he appears to be ok. McConnell was helped up by Sens. Steve Daines (R-MT) and Markwayne Mullin (R-OK),” Pergram posted
Fox: It's fine, everybody! He's just as dead as he was before 👍
Fake! I don't see the default cube anywhere!
The first pic had nine default cubes and some raspberries 🤔
New Years resolution the past 5 years: I will get better with Rust.
...and I do get better but somehow it always feels like it's not enough. Like, I'm still an imposter.
I can program an entire embedded USB keyboard/mouse firmware from scratch that can do all sorts of things no keyboard has ever done before yet I still feel like a newbie somehow. Like there's all these people that talk about traits and mutli-threaring with async and GPU and AI stuff and I'm like, "I wrote an embedded_hal crate that lets you use both 8 and 16-channel multiplexers simultaneously!" or, "I wrote an interface that let's you use the extra space in your RP2040 flash memory as a filesystem!"
Yet everything I ever write in Rust always just uses the most basic and simple features because I still have trouble with complex lifetimes (passing them around quickly gets too confusing for me) and traits that work with non-basic types (because in the world of embedded 'static is king).
Mace better be careful: The very same thinking she's spouting thinks that women who won't or can't have children for any reason are lesser women. It's the same reasoning: That women serve a very specific biological purpose and any other position--such as being elected to Congress(!)--is an affront to God/nature.
Stopped reading after this:
Take, for instance, the Democratic Party, whose immigration policy, at least for a large portion of the Biden presidency, has been to effectively open the southern border to all comers
What a load of bullshit! Border crossings went down under Biden earlier this year because of his aggressive enforcement efforts:
https://www.politico.com/news/2024/06/26/border-crossings-drop-biden-policy-00165055
Not only that but the article is implying that immigration through the southern border is where nearly all illegal immigrants come from. Most illegal immigration is from people who enter the country legally (from wherever) then overstay their visa.
The southern border is a problem for sure but the border policies of the Democrats are simply on par with the Republican policies (they both don't accomplish much since the border is just too fucking huge!). Basically, there's very little that can be done that hasn't already been tried.
Even if you institute mass deportations the people will just come back because getting into the US is just too easy and it's physically impossible to actually police the entire southern border let alone the entirety of the land and sea that borders the US.
Two of our (gay couple) neighbors said something similar to me a while back: They're too afraid to put up a sign or flag.
My house doesn't have any LGBTQ people living in it but we have a HUGE fucking LGBTQ flag right across from the American flag. It's been such a blessing too! Now the most annoying of my neighbors don't try to smalltalk with me anymore about their absolutely batshit insane conspiracy theories 👍
Crowdstrike has clients that run on MacOS and Linux. Only the Windows version requires kernel level access. I believe it has something to do with the absolute shitshow that is Windows security model but it might also be because it runs a 31-year-old filesystem that still doesn't allow one process to read another process's files while they're open.
I don't trust these estimates. By 2050 there's no way regular ICE cars will be common. Once any given region goes past about 33% electric vehicles gas stations won't be profitable anymore and will shutter forever. When that happens it'll be like falling dominos as gas prices go up and more people will purchase electric vehicles out of necessity as ICE vehicles will become unaffordable.
I also seriously doubt these estimates are taking into account the fact that battery technology and the rate of battery manufacturing is improving at an exponential rate. Yes, the curve is shooting up that fast!
Also, this title is missing a big problem that all vehicles have: The tires are one of their biggest sources of pollution.
Founding a company is easy: Do you have $150? You too can own a Florida corporation today (literally, within minutes).
I'm sure there's tens of thousands of LLCs and S corporations owned by Gen Z. They're just things like lawn care services, handyman, independent contractors, etc.
They may not be huge or popular or famous but I guarantee that there's a lot of them. Because there's far too many jobs that require you have a registered business and thousands of young people have these jobs.

Florian is a paid shill. I recognized his name immediately. "That guy‽"
Totally destroyed his reputation by working anti-FOSS propaganda for Microsoft and Oracle.
