Yeah it really splits the crowd. There were three case studies from the course but I can't find my offering's outline and I forget the third case study. The first one was: "A woman signs a form saying that if she gets dementia she wants euthanasia in the late/developed stages of the illness. Later, she gets there, but this 'version' of her has a really high quality of life and is quite contented. Do you follow through?"

In between there were discussions of frameworks like Aristotelian/Kantian/utilitarian ethics. There were also some medical specific stuff, like the biopsychosocial model of disability. Pretty neat overall, though tbh I wish I took an ethics class more relevant to my current academic pursuits (math)

I remember discussing this in an undergrad biomedical ethics class. Pls don't ask us to do ur homework lmao

Jury was still out by the end of class discussion btw. This one was complicated lol

Well, as long as it isn't negatively affecting him I guess. But I assume that he'll have to somewhat regularly monitor it with bloodwork checkups

I think your estimation is incorrect. There are about 6-7 horsemen here

I've been reading Dracula, and it's truly horrifying. The Count is extremely vile and cruel and conniving and I yearn to see his demise (NO SPOILERS PLS). It makes me want to kill a vampire irl, and ensure that those fiends are no more. The problem is that vampires aren't real, so my righteous hatred and contempt has nowhere to go. So how can I find an avenue to fulfill my desire?

Just like, the most blatant couples or the most blatant siblings you've ever seen that there's no mistaking it

(this is my personal creation within like 2 min of decision-making so if there's smth to move lmk)

Definition: "gay music video night" is a friendgroup activity wherein you and your friends rotate in choosing music videos to show one another. This often emerges organically as opposed to being planned, and as a subset of a larger hangout, e.g. as a pregame activity or winding down. The reason that it's called "gay music video night" is that this activity/ritual is often partaken by queer male friendgroups, and for the veneration of their favourite female pop idols (though no music video is excluded here; please share whatever you wish!)

Ok now that everyone has been briefed: Chrissy Chlapecka truly continues to gag me. Like her cunt level is just so powerful.

She started off with Brat, which was admittedly a studio space and a dream, and still ate down

And now she's putting out incredible videos like Andromeda (which had an insane production turnaround time???)

We need to be including her in the conversation. Her strap stays down my throat and her pleaser on my neck, and I thank her. Chrissanie Chlapenotta You Will Always Be Famous 😍😍😍

I'm Ghoulia (obviously; sensitive nerds who understand the importance of a good head, in more ways than one). But do feel like I have a Cleo rising cuz I am a bit of a demon twink (I'm working on it, and by that I mean that I'm trying to become a twunk so that I can be worse). What about you guys?

I guess some of the equivalents for reddit would be r/popheadscirclejerk, r/rupaulsdragrace, and r/queensofleague (to a lesser extent, the subreddits for a lot of female pop stars fall under this umbrella as well).

Here are some spaces that, while I do think are valuable in their own right, are not necessarily what I'm talking about:

  1. General LGBT spaces. These are important for like news and subculture and common experiences; I'm just looking for something a bit more niche (though I do want to be in both).

  2. Masculine queer men's spaces. These correspond to subreddits like r/gaybros, r/askgaybros, etc. I never personally vibed with them, though I understand their necessity for queer men who find themselves on the more masculine end of the gender spectrum.

Also, if this is the incorrect place to post this, please let me know where I can instead. Thanks!

The other day, I was on a crowded bus for an intercity commute, and was sat beside someone who was reading. So I got my book out and started reading as well. At the end of the trip I asked her what she was reading and what it was about, and added the associated series to my reading list. I also told her about my book. We parted ways and it made my day a little brighter. Does anyone have any similar stories of brief good encounters with other people?
