They’re just statues, I don’t think they’re benches meant to be sat on at all. They’re meant to make Ronald look welcoming. Notice how they’re never in a good spot to sit in either, like this one, which is smack dab between some walls.
They censored AskReddit. There’s no logic here.
Even cast iron pans have toxic things in them like lead, cadmium, and antimony. https://www.mychemicalfreehouse.net/2025/08/le-creuset-toxicity-review-lead-cadmium-pfas.html
It’s just very unlikely to get into your bloodstream and even then it’s an incredibly small amount. Completely different than PFAS where you’re getting double dipped on toxic chemicals: those dumped by the chemical companies into nature and those that offgas into your home.
What a great way to handwave that because yeah, mediating with message gets annoying after a while and your DM’s solution is just better. And funnier!
Just letting you know, I’m currently without a job due to ethical reasons as well and it’s honestly been great for my health. I understand you might not be in the same position as me, but you do sound like an ethical person. If I were in your shoes I wouldn’t go back, but I’m not you. Only you can make that decision.
LibreOffice is more than slightly worse, but FOSS projects cover the gamut. The thing about them is that the best ones are usually laser focused on exactly what the user needs, rather than what makes the most money.

I think NPR updated the headline to “Trump campaign staff had altercation with official at Arlington National Cemetery”. Besides “on the record” is completely made up. Anything you say to an official or journalist is “on the record” if they’re recording it. The Hollywood trope is just made up stuff like “you have to tell me if you’re a cop”.
I’ve seen this exact article quoted several times with the “you’ve been wrong about this all along” and it’s like the people saying that don’t even bother to read. No it’s not saying that lift isn’t generated due to low pressure forces, like you’re claiming. It’s saying that it’s not a complete explanation. It’s missing some forces that make up the rest of the lift.
No, that’s not how it works
You can be forgiven for thinking that that’s not how it works 🙃
Like it says, it’s the most popular theory with scientists, they’re just still missing a complete explanation. Lift from low pressure is still the most popular partial explanation.

Douglas Adams did a great play on this in The Restaurant at the End of the Universe.
