Velma :3

Honestly I started using the moniker because I wear glasses and generally wear my hair in a bob (more modern than the original look though!). I can definitely get a little obsessive about details and I have strong justice sensitivity thanks to my ADHD, so the character really ended up fitting well regardless.

My wedding anniversary was this week! We both brought home bouquets of flowers without realizing the other was going to as well :3

I combined the two and now we have a HUGE bouquet and it’s very lovely.

A little relief is so nice! Happy to hear your week is going a bit better than the last :)

I’m warming up to her stuff. I recently stumbled on her music this year. It’s a little too pop-punk sometimes for my own personal taste, but I enjoy the hell out of the messaging.

Punk is arguably more of a mindset than a specific sound these days. The early days of punk certainly set a musical style that’s distinctive though. I’d recommend checking out The Cramps and Dead Kennedys if you enjoy the Ramones and the Clash.

No Dogs in Space is a podcast that does deep dives on some of these bands that you might find interesting.
