Yeah, I understood that. But a hard limit on population is crazy. You would need to have some way of killing people for each person born. That's disregarding the fact that people have a beneficial use. They can help in food, service, manufacturing, business to business stuff.

But taken to the extreme if some person in a suit just going around the country killing people for each person born...

I don't know how many hospitals are in Switzerland or how big they are but it's definitely more than 10 a day so imagine someone just driving around all day yelling at traffic and any delay because they need to report how many people they killed that week and praying it's not a busy week in the maternity ward...

I mean I know where I stand I on that but I'm willing to listen to arguments why we shouldn't explode all children...

Marketing and pr pressure to be able to use the term "Ai" because it's the current hype. Everything is now Ai. It's now a meaningless term. Image processing, data calculations, language interpretation, language generation, all claim to be Ai. If your product has Ai it now tells me nothing about what it does.

I'll have to check out the ram. I know it boots and network and hdmi work but will have to dig out a spare keyboard to try to log in and see what it can do

Wait... While this is horrible... How did LG say anything in a January announcement when it's still December?

Oh I remember, my first "website" was hosted on xoom and was a serious of nested tables showing the stats of units in warcraft 2.

There were no calculations or anything, just the basic stats.

That is interesting, I dealt with purely internal software so never considered that.

If you want to totally mess up a haunted house when ever someone jumps out ask them a unrelated question.

"I will eat your brains!"

"where was your last vacation?"

"my family is dead and soon you will join them"

"what is 10x15+7?"

Most people will stop acting and think of the answer completely destroying the effect of the haunted house.

I was taught for tools or equipment always buy the cheapest you can find. If you use it enough and for long enough that it breaks or is not good enough then splurge and get the quality version. Like if you get into drawing buy that $15 pencil kit...in a month or 2 if you find you want to continue with drawing but you need better pencils then go out and buy the 50 or 100 dollar version. At that point you will know you want to continue drawing and you have enough foundational knowledge to know what is important and what is pure marketing.

Well it's also a learning project as through a series of events I am technically a software developer in job title who got thrown into a c# code base with databases after doing a python boot camp for 9 weeks and have no mentor to tell me what I'm doing wrong on professional projects.
