Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So how’s it going?

It does get better... But different. I used to sleep until 9am or sometimes 11am. Now I wake up at 7am sometimes 8am. Our kids are now 7 and 10 and hardly wake up in the night, and in the morning they will play / read on their own without waking us up.

Yes the older ones do that, so I guess having a 3 year old still makes it hard. But now we have one that wakes up early and two that don't want to get up but need to for school.

I once read a nice saying: "not for a million dollar I want another kid, but not for a million dollar they can take away my kids." I love them, but sometimes I really don't want to be a dad anymore :)

Yeah I can relate to that. We recently had all the kids go to visit their grandmother for a night. It was the first time since the first one was born that we had a kid free night. I think we slept for 12 hours straight.
