Really solid frost this morning and MetService is insisting that it feels like -5 out there. We just watched a woman run past the house pushing a buggy, crazy lady.

Cold up here in the Far North as well. First light frost on the grass this winter, but not as cold as you. The forecast looks as though it’ll be like this for a few days, so no rain, yay!!!

that was my first thought too but we couldn't tell. At least there was a cover over the front to keep the breeze out.

Metservice service was saying -2 here a couple hours ago, but my outdoor sensor disagreed. In any case I used it as an excuse to fire up the firepit and get rid of some old broken wood and bits of palm
