I mean I agree with you and I've already signed the change.org petition, I'm not sure what else I can do. I don't know anyone who supports Destiny Church or Brian Tamaki. Like I said, I don't think much will change with the current lot in power.

I installed KO Reader as soon as I got it and never looked back. Not as pretty as the standard Nickel (?) OS but more customisable.

I love having an e-reader. I read so much more because of it. Much more convenient, not having to worry about heavy books, holding open pages, no need to worry about proper lighting for reading. Light and small enough to bring everywhere. I will buy another immediately once this one dies.

I agree with your sentiments, but this is nothing new for Brian Tamaki and his cult. The same issues get brought up everytime they're in the news for something. I would love the Government to cripple them financially, but it seems unlikely to happen so far.

I think the Stremio + RD combo made piracy too easy and lots of users newer to piracy panicked when they saw the announcement and started asking for refunds and alternatives before anything even happened. I also started using RD a short while before the announcement and there has been no change for me at all, everything still works like when I first started using it.

Agree with your points, stupid people still existed, but would be shunned from important roles once others realized they were stupid. Social media and the systematic underfunding of education and science also is a factor of dumbing down the general population and overall lack of critical thinking. It's one of the reasons so many mistrust scientist or experts and think watching youtube or tiktok videos counts as "research".

Can you imagine, governments made up of highly educated people that are actually experts in the fields their role is responsible for? We might actually progress as a society.
