Someone has organised a Lemmy version of r/place at https://lemmy.nz/post/741632

The site uses your lemmy account, but doesn't require your password. Instead it will send a message to your lemmy account to verify it's you. I had to try a couple of times to get it working but it worked in the end.

You can jump straight to the canvas here: https://canvas.toast.ooo

Edit: Finished the first one, on to the second with top left at (325, 555)

spoiler

The Lemmy.nz logo seemed way too hard to do, so I've started doing this smaller version of the !newzealand@lemmy.nz logo with the bottom left corner at (379,574):

To help, the cog button shows some settings, one of them lets you put in an overlay image. Use the following URL which is a life size image (and don't forget to adjust the opacity): https://lemmy.nz/pictrs/image/6dca54d2-d383-4547-97d3-b740f78544a2.png

I still have motivation I'll probably add "!newzealand@lemmy.nz" to the ~~right~~ left of it. (Edit: woke up this morning and there's no longer space on the right, so will go for the left)
