André told reporters after arriving in France, that as soon as someone would fall asleep, the agents would play loud music and dance. He also claimed that the detainees had a hard time accessing food and water.

I do that to myself.

Yeah, the title is really misleading and sensational if that's what the "abuse" consisted of.

Psychological torture consists of numerous tiny things like that. It sounds small, but they add up.

I agree, psychological torture is no joke. My point was that the original headline really led me to expect to read a story of sexual abuse, or other physical violence. It was actually a relief to read that it wasn't, even if the sleep depravation is still awful.
