How many physical injuries an action hero can sustain and still pull off demanding stunts.
Also, the hero getting injured, then goes to the hospital, recovers, and goes right back to his super cool action hero activities. Instead, they would at have a permanent limp or funky shoulder for the rest of their lives at the very least.
John wick would have spent the rat of his live as a semi vegetable in a bed
That is if he had survived in the first place, which nobody would have after about 5 minutes into any John wick movie
... Especially not if you pissed off John Wick!
The first movie isn't that bad until, there's a scene where he's sideswiped by a Chevy Tahoe and just batted out of frame. That would not have left his skeleton intact.
Then there's Jackie Chan.
