Probably not, they aren't talking about what happened but it might have been conflicting opinions.
It has been fairly widely reported, there's a long list of grievances (by Ukrainians widely not just Federov) against him. In short he's perceived as hidebound /old school Soviet and hamstringing the effectiveness of the troops (there's a lot longer list btw).
Federov published an article on it as well as there a lot of other column inches. Federov was popular because he was not only delivering results, he waa addressing the way conscription was being (badly) handled which is a bone of contention with the public
