yeah thats what the american public voted for.
maybe the country should have actually done something about it before it got to this point.
it was intentional and you all voted for it
This is quite rude, honestly. In 2024, I was a seventeen-year-old closetted trans girl.
I had constant dread and anxiety because I knew he was going to be elected, and I couldn't even vote.
I was scared to death. I still am. I need to get out. I wish I could get out.
You can get out... You're just making a choice not to... And I say this as someone who left.
Edit: You can down vote all you want but you're 18 at this point and there are plenty of places in this world friendly to trans people and with your ability to speak English that gives you opportunity almost anywhere in the world. You'll probably just spend the rest of your life moaning and complaining and that's on you....
I actually can't leave yet. I don't have enough money saved up to actually pay for it. Most people could never afford to move to another country. You're very luck that you could manage it.
Also, I can't downvote, since it's disabled on my instance.
Explain to me how 1000s even millions of people can walk their ass to the boarder and they make less then $10 dollars a day but you can't afford it?
As an American you're the 1%... You choose not to move... You claim you're in such danger, life is so hard, but you sit on your computer just complaining about it...
This is gonna really shock you... I'm not the 1%. Most Americans are dirt poor. The only reason it looks like we're all rich, is because the ultra-wealthy skew the average.
I never said my life is hard; I never claimed that I'm in danger (yet). It takes time to get one's affairs in order, and to obtain a visa.
Of course, you're probably not going to listen to any of this, since you just like to sit on your computer and tell people they're wealthy fascists because they want to have a modest safety net before they try to escape the country.
You know your original comment is visible right??? You live with dread and anxiety and are "scared to death"... Clearly this conversation isn't going anywhere when you change your story in a matter of 3 posts and then make up things I've said.
Good luck... I hope you find whatever you're looking for..
"Scared to death" of losing access to my gender-affirming care. It's a poetical exageration; hyperbole, one might say.
Who would it help for me to get out of here? Not the country I'm leaving, and not the country I'd be going to, either.
I don't understand how that's related to my comment but don't live your life where you feel like the decisions you make have to benefit someone else.
You may not be an American, but you count like you went to one of our public schools...
First eu isnt any better, 2nd i didnt vote for any of that. We have a system called lobbying which allows companies to publicly contribute funds to elected officials and they pass laws and bill that the american people never asked for, for money. Where do you think copyright extenstions came from? Thank disney for that onewhich the eu made even worse in 2019, german eeg, eu trade secerts directive, Not to mention France tried to intercept grapheneOS downloads to install spyware, and my favorite, chat control which ireland is the main one pushing for it. I can keep going but i believe ive made my point by now.
Did you get an American education?
Quote more than one word:
The rich are conditioning us to accept our abuse. Some of it is inadvertent, though it can be impossible to tell.
Personally, my parents hit me if I did not obey and accept whatever they said. I was physically conditioned to be a delusional narcissist like them. I still did not vote for Trump, but they did. I am trying to apply more critical thinking in my life. It is difficult when my foundation is broken and I had so many bad habits for so many years.
Did my parents intend to abuse their children, or was it inadvertent?
