Yes. Me.

And a lot of people I talk to, maybe it is my biased bubble. But there are a lot of people in the teal camp. I don't have social media beyond Lemmy.... So these are IRL people, far more than 5% in fact.

I hope that when the vote is counted, teal voters will have had the courage to stand behind their values rather than be afraid of the "wasted vote".

If polling shoes a consistent above 5%; this is far less of a concern.

@absGeekNZ @ooo_shiny, imho Opportunity is just another way to support National, the party that made just about every single day since they took over governing nearly three years ago a bad news day - many catastrophic ones.
The name opportunity reflects the parties wants, an opportunity to enrich themselves.
Their policies are mostly paling in substance and accuracy to what ie
the Green party has shown.
In my opinion whether they reach the 5% or not it's very much a wasted vote if you want to better what's going on now.

I've got this guy tagged as simply "munter" in my app. I don't remember why, but they're not doing anything to make me think I was wrong.

Opportunity is being attacked from both sides.

It is not a vote for national.

On current polling, they will talk to labour first. There is a lot of common ground with the left, so an understanding is likely to be found.

@absGeekNZ , I disagree.
I think it has been solely created to dilute the left and Luxon will happily embrace them if it gets him another three years of bulldozing this country into the ground.

You are free to disagree, that is the benefit of living here in NZ.

Your opinion is valid, even if I think it is misguided. I think they will get in this year and we will both see what comes of it.
