Sounds fucking amazing compared to my life
Yeah, you can't unsee Star Wars: The Phantom Menace
The sequel trilogy did a lot of work to make the prequels more bearable.
The prequels would have been a collective masterpiece if Lucas followed through with Darth jar jar.
TRUTH.
It's not that the prequel trilogy somehow got better, it's just that it no longer is the worst trilogy.
The only thing I've seen of ‘Star Wars’ is ‘Attack of the Clones’, but I was thinking of watching the new trilogy sometime. Are you saying it's not worth it?
IMO they're all skippable except for the original trilogy of A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and the Star Wars Holiday Special.
To be quite honest, I didn't even bother watching them. But everything I have seen and heard about them convinced me that I made the right choice with it.
But then again, that's just the opinion of an old grumbler. If you want to watch them and like them go ahead.
I've also been recommended something called ‘Holiday Special’, they say it's an item of particular interest.
Episode 8 is the best Star Wars movie out of all 9 of them. You will see the truth once they drop the next 3 movies. That is because you suffer your own confirmation bias and self fulfilling prophecy.

The wife and I are about to watch the first 6 movies for the first time together. Both of us have only ever seen the first half of episode 3
I think you mean 3 movies, right? Because that's how many Star Wars movies exist. There are 3 movies.
Rogue One is pretty good.
And Andor. Then I could take the bare plot details of the prequels. And Clone Wars is good too. Nice well rounded experience with that, and forget the rest.
Bit of an odd choice to cut it off at ‘Revenge of the Sith’.
