Or any publisher/developer that insists you use their proprietary launcher to play single player.

Do Rockstar still do that? I haven't bought a game of theirs since...checks watch ~~ever~~ RDR2

No idea. They started using some kind of really flawed captcha years ago that made it impossible for me to access my account. I emailed them to delete it since I wouldn't be able to play my purchased games anyway and they didn't comply. I wouldn't give them another cent even if they merged with Jesus Christ himself.
