I want my day mildly ruined, not completely ruined. Please remember to refrain from reposting old content. If you post a post from reddit it is good practice to include a link and credit the OP. I'm not about stealing content!
It's just good to get something in this website for casual viewing whilst refreshing original content is added overtime.

Yeah Reacher is just fantasy. He eats like a pig, never has access to a shower and he is built like Mr Universe.
Alan ritchsons always been big and claims he just consistently works out everyday and eats a lot, and he didn't work out that much before reacher was still pretty big, after season 1 he started taking testosterone I think if i remember correctly, he talks about it in interviews
Thats cool and has nothing to do with what i posted.
He in real life doesn't work out as much as you think he would for his frame prereacher, he was low on testosterone to prior to it. Not that crazy to think reacher went from working out daily to once or twice a weak to avoid atroph. On screen he often does feets of strength that would equal maxing out on weights once a weak.
He does have access to a shower. He stays at motels mostly and very rarely sleeps outside.
There’s no explanation for that body though as he definitely never goes to a gym.
He doesn't have to goto the gym that often to mantain it, maybe like twice a weak, apparently 1 set to failure a week is enough to prevent hypertrophy so he can get that through the bs he goes through lifting heavy sht and climing.
Um guys come on it is simple. he lives at the gym between seasons.
The books have one or two references to him working as a labourer or other jobs between books.
Labor jobs don't make you look like that. They make you hunched over and limping and kinda fat looking. Also an alcoholic

Sorry to burst your bubble, but those don't work without a lot of gym time.
If you're on the juice, but don't put in the work, your body just gets weird.

Even so, I have to say that the books concentrate more on him just being really tall without being thin. And trained both mentally and physically, but never just muscled.
I don't recall which one, but he's shot in the chest by a small caliber revolver and his dense pectorals actually stopped the bullet.
Damn, I never knew Mr. Universe had all that hiding under his shirt!
