My friend's kid is hooked on Ponyo right now, and I feel like that will be the Miyazaki film burned into her soul from here on forward.

I re-watched that recently with my kids (now at more or less the same age I was when I watched it for the first time) just waiting for the bit where Tetsuo goes super extra... bleagh.

One said "that's the most disgusting thing I've ever seen".

10/10 would recommend.
