Bet they honked like a goose.
If they did, it would at least be a lot lower-pitched than a goose. Vocalization frequency tends to scale with the size of an animal.
So I'm guessing their honk would sound more like a foghorn ... which is kind of terrifying in its own way.
Counterexample: cheetahs. They sort of meow instead of roaring.
Have you heard what a horny moose sounds like? Although I guess that’s not technically a “vocalization”.
