To say nothing of what they made her do to get the role. :(

Should have soaked them up with her feathers

[-] lengau@midwest.social 2 points 19 minutes ago

Please don't make fun of her female-pattern baldness

[-] FartMaster69@lemmy.dbzer0.com 14 points 5 hours ago

It’s pretty tragic that even to this day she isn’t credited by name.

The fan base calls her Roberta. Or Rexie

That dude looks like a young John Oliver - which can't be, because that guy was born old

[-] Mantzy81@aussie.zone 3 points 2 hours ago

I think you mean John Oliver. Jamie Oliver is the chef

[-] Jackhammer_Joe@lemmy.world 2 points 2 hours ago

You're right! I fixed that! Thanks

T-Rex: So for this scene did you want a long pondering stare, like I’m figuring out who I am-

Be happy, with your mouth open

Bet they honked like a goose.

[-] OwOarchist@pawb.social 8 points 2 hours ago

If they did, it would at least be a lot lower-pitched than a goose. Vocalization frequency tends to scale with the size of an animal.

So I'm guessing their honk would sound more like a foghorn ... which is kind of terrifying in its own way.

[-] FuglyDuck@lemmy.world 3 points 18 minutes ago

I mean, sure. Maybe. Probably?

But can you imagine anything more terrifying than a multi-ton Canada goose charging and honking at you?

[-] saltnotsugar@lemmy.world 2 points 15 minutes ago

(Slow heavy metal version of O Canada plays as mega goose swoops in)

(Heavy fog over the water as a ships crew look out in concern)

HOOOOOOONK

Captain: RIGHT FULL RUDDER!!!

[-] Natanox@discuss.tchncs.de 3 points 3 hours ago

Didn't they have feathers? Or was that another era?

[-] OwOarchist@pawb.social 3 points 2 hours ago

Yes, current consensus is that T-Rex probably had at least some feathers.

Sure, Jan. We all know predators don’t sweat.
