She's also a russia sock pupet?

All the right-wingers are: AfD in Germany, Reform UK, FdL in Italy, and of course the GOP in the US. They all claim to put their own country first, but for that they are a bit too much pro Putin.

Meloni so far has backed sending weapons to Ukraine and the sanctions on Russia. She's still far-right but I don't think she is as bad as Le Pen for example.

But that's Le Pen? I was talking about Meloni.

Gotta dig. That, obviously, was the wrong link. But Meloni is not exactly on Ukraines' side - I've read about this somewhere.

Always has been.

She’s also a russia sock pupet?

Of course. Almost all of the European far right are.

Yes, it has been known for years. Putin funds all of the European far-right parties exactly so they can do pull like this.

It's do fucking infuriating that the general public isn't aware about this. It's almost like (at least here in France) the rich and powerful prefer the far right - right to go to the end election (the 2 biggest go to a second turn, and everyone prefers "not the extremist party", giving a free win to the other).

Before you all say the rich and powerful prefer the extreme right, I don't think it's that clear cut here, they are well ok with the "classic right".

I also hope the extreme right here will split up, there is infighting because they close in to the absolute power.

This already happened in the US ... Don't let it happen where you live

Yeah I'm working on an intelligence pill...

And also far left parties like BSW and Die Linke in Germany.

[-] woelkchen@lemmy.world 7 points 6 days ago

far left parties like BSW

Nothing left wing about BSW. The are fascist cosplaying as lefties.

I agree, but thry (she?) is a spin off from die Linke. That says a lot about die Linke...

  1. No sympathy with the enemy or its collaborators. Russian and North Korean soldiers are fascists committing a genocide. Remember that.

  2. Objective and factual reporting from the battlefield, parliaments, etc. is encouraged, even if it's about bad news for Ukraine.

  3. Insulting Putin and his cronies (Orban, Trump, Musk,...) is absolutely fine but don't use homophobic or similar language against them. Members of the queer community don't deserve to be compared to that scum. Also: Putin disciminates against gay people. If you do as well, you're part of the problem.
