Flock should be pushing for new regs here and for this guy to be prosecuted. It would make everyone more comfortable with the cameras.

Just an FYI, if a company is ever actively pushing for regulation where they are a part of the equation, you should be suspicious. Like in your example, they wouldn’t actually care about the regulation beyond the PR of “look look we think this shouldn’t be allowed either!”

Eh, regulations are generally in collaboration with the government and the governed. Smart industry partners know the political process provides air cover, legally and morally.

Flocks only part in this abomination was that it alerted police after scanning the plate. If the cop had entered the plate manually, the outcome would have been the same.
