Luan was a 17-year-old trans boy. When authorities recovered his body, injuries to his neck and face, blood, burns and preliminary forensic observations pointed to severe violence before his death.

Firefighters had extinguished flames in the field before Luan was discovered face down and partially undressed. Police documented possible drag marks and tire marks nearby and collected a sandal, necklace and phone-charger cable from the area. Those physical traces became part of the homicide investigation, but the available record did not determine whether Luan died at that location or was brought there afterward.

In the days that followed, Civil Police sought surveillance footage and information about vehicles that may have traveled near the area. Rain had affected portions of the scene, adding another obstacle to efforts to preserve and examine potential evidence. No suspect had emerged in the latest verified reporting.

Victims of hate crimes deserve their stories being told. If it makes you uncomfortable good, hate crimes should do that.

this is rather insensitive. you're basically saying that people have a moral obligation to constantly expose themselves to things that make their mental health worse

You do not have the right to remain comfortable. Your comfort should never take priority over the real world, and if it does then your comfort is at the expense of real people's lives. That is literally the main problem with the society of the imperial core, we care about our comfort so much that it keeps us complacent even during times of genocide.

EDIT: Rephrased for comprehension

what a vile thing to say to a minority

For context since we're playing that card I'm also trans.

then you should know that we all already are hyperaware of how fucked up the society we live in is, every single one of us are completely aware that this is happening and that a lot of us have mental issues from existing in this hateful society and that this kind of stuff affects some people A LOT more than others, depending on how bad your mental state is to begin with and how empathetic you are

shame on you, seriously. shame on you
