- Comics should be a full story, from start to finish, in one post.

π½οΈ Credit Where Credit is Due
- Comics should include the original attribution to the artist(s) involved, and be unmodified. Bonus points if you include a link back to their website. When in doubt, use a reverse image search to try to find the original version. Repeat offenders will have their posts removed, be temporarily banned from posting, or if all else fails, be permanently banned from posting.
- Attributions include, but are not limited to, watermarks, links, or other text or imagery that artists add to their comics to use for identification purposes. If you find a comic without any such markings, it would be a good idea to see if you can find an original version. If one cannot be found, say so and ask the community for help!

MODERATORS
I dunno, everyone says this of the issues about which they care but other ones are too large etc.
For example, do you feel the same way about say, sweatshop clothes? In that we should take a stand,pick a stand or fuck off?
Personally, I feel the 12 year olds making the most of the clothes I see when I walk down the street is much more important than most national issues in my country AND is something where individual action really matters but, it's also an issue that requires actual sacrifice and work. Much easier to be angry at people online over politics...
I think there's a difference between "I affirmatively do not care" and "there's no purely way to be ethical, and that horror has fallen under my personal bar for attention right now"
It's also significant if you go out of your way to say you're not making a decision on the issue. That, in and of itself, is often a very significant decision to make.
If you're not taking sides, you're siding with whoever is the oppressor.
I used to think I could be neutral. Then someone told me that neutral can easily be manipulated. I settled after a year of educating myself. It's impossible to be completely unbiased. People who say they don't care, actually care too much, they whine and grumble about everything and wonder why it gets bad--they don't do anything about the issues that affect them. It takes a really big leap to get out of the undecided 'pit'.
I think it's pretty clear that if you "have no opinion" in sweatshops, you've chosen the far right. Every normal person is against them.
Against them but also wearing their products, which is even worse. What's the point of being "against" something then? It's like saying you're "against" trump but sitting out the elections.
You know that "but yet, you participate in society. curious." Meme?
You uhh, don't think you can participate in society using fewer sweatshop endorsed clothes? Like thrift stores don't exist or?

The term is not used as a positive thing to be aspired to, but as a negative thing to avoid. At least in any conversation I have observed. It being mentioned more shows that awareness is increasing and people are making an effort.
But why did this need to be explained to YOU? You displayed yourself as a warrior for this cause, but then are completely oblivious to one of its main developments of the recent years? If you wanna fight for such a cause, you should probably study it first.

I'm not in any way sure what point you're trying to make.
It's like saying that despite hosting a pig roast most years and BBQ meat all the time, I actually support vegetarianism because sometimes I note that boy, there's a lot of cruelty in the production of my food.
Having an opinion and not acting on it doesn't count for anything.
Edit: At least in the comic, the person is honest. Your approach seems to be "well, as long as I occasionally complain, I've done my duty!" I am sure the children who occasionally burn to death making your clothes take great comfort as they asphyxiate because you sometimes feel bad. Not bad enough to change your habits or anything but come on, what are we to do? Wear out of date clothes? UGH!
You're good with accusing, but not good with understanding. I never said I buy fast fashion, and people avoiding raising awareness about and then avoiding fast fashion SHOULD be in line with your goals if you're not a hypocrite.
But I more and more get the feeling that you're one of those people only cosplaying a cause to make themselves look good.
Go ahead, make another baseless accusation, cosplayer.
