Original comment content, inappropriate and somewhat mean
Edit: that does not mean it's not 100โ% fine to be worn by a woman, just imposes consideration on its usefulness in accomplishing a goal in some settings. I like the design, and the cut might be adjusted by resewing around the waist to improve it.
I don't...really have that much to say about that, so here's a meme instead

this is a cute meme and also i want to steal alex's skirt
Yessss
Alex's skirt is so pretty! โค๏ธ
Yes. You're valid either way!
I really don't think this is appropriate. I'm femme and wear nerdy tshirts all the time. You do not make that distinction, the wearer does.
Please don't give advice that isn't asked for.
who says it has to be "particularly feminine"? i know plenty of cis girls who regularly wear t-shirts like that, not sure what the problem is supposed to be. like sure, it's not a flowery dress, but girls can, in fact, wear other clothes too.
kind of an asshole thing to say tbh, especially since i've seen you engage with OP on multiple other occasions (positively!) and there's no question that you're aware of her issues wrt self-image and self-esteem.
I'm trying to offer constructive criticism (of a piece of clothing, not a person!) I've complimented her a lot in the past 30 days in a private chat and I think it's fine to demonstrate honesty even when not as aligned with her gender as it could be, if only to show I haven't been just blindly giving out affirmations.
Point taken though, I should have phrased that better, like "cool for casual friendly environments, especially where people know and appreciate your nerdiness but you have better tops to go to town in"
I do like that T-shirt design, and would wear it but I think there are ways to make it look more feminine (tighten around her slim waist, maybe?) It looks slightly oversized, which may make it a nice cozy one at home and Miisha does look happy wearing it, which is the key factor, but she has shown she can do better when presenting as female. The long-term solution is to abolish norms of what men and women "should" wear of course.
dont provide criticism when it isnt asked for is the takeaway here :)
You're right, that was mean. I forgot that maximizing femininity at all times is not what MtF people do or should do.
Good thing it doesn't have to be a competition. ๐
It's not but some clothes are better at something than others. It looks cozy and nerdy, seems great for the home, time with family or friends or for hacker conventions, but she has more fitting (literally, too) tops to go to town in.
Clothes only accomplish what the wearer intends them to. Telling a stranger what is appropriate for them to wear in and out of the house is wild, and borderline harmful.
