A place to share screenshots of Microblog posts, whether from Mastodon, tumblr, ~~Twitter~~ X, KBin, Threads or elsewhere.
Created as an evolution of White People Twitter and other tweet-capture subreddits.
RULES:
- Your post must be a screen capture of a microblog-type post that includes the UI of the site it came from, preferably also including the avatar and username of the original poster. Including relevant comments made to the original post is encouraged.

This makes the running joke from Extras where everyone would get the name of the main character's show wrong (a silly British sitcom called "when the whistle blows") even funnier
When the Wind Blows is borderline optimistic compared to Watership Down.
And the American version was The Day After (1983)
Entirely different movies with the same premise. The Day After messed me up as a kid. But Threads haunts me as an adult.
The Day After gets way more fucked up when you watch the roundtable discussion that took place after its premiere. Now that's some parallel reality mental prolapse.
oh wow, Carl Sagan and henry kissinger on that panel for the discussion, with Ted Koppel mediating 🫥 god, remember when news was interesting and not 24/7 doom-rage mind rot?
there was a month and half period when ukrainian news broadcasted wall-to-wall gorefest. and then Bucha was liberated and it wasn't shits and giggles anymore.

its on youtube. and it is quite fucked up. with folks like that end of the world is probably the best case scenario.
as an addon - there was also BBC After Dark episode about Chornobyl which was "white people feeling bad about famine in Africa" level of white savior bullshit - their arrogance is actively repulsive.
it's technically a docudrama. and then it gets bored.
