Genuine question- how early do you think such teaching should occur? Because for many of us (women), predation on us starts much younger than men seem to realize. The truth is, if we were to focus on teaching women to avoid groomers, we’d need to have full-on courses on psychology for elementary schoolers.
Now let’s logically follow through your idea here. So if we were to successfully teach girls (because again, if you wait to teach “women” then you’re already too late) to avoid “confident” men, what’s going to happen? Hm seems like a lot of boys would end up being avoided by girls, treated pre-emptively as rapists. Isn’t that what the manosphere complains about already? That girls and women don’t “give guys a chance” or what-have-you?
How about teaching women that guys grabbing girls on the ass is bad, is that hard? That even if you think it's fun, sleazy behaviour is bad no matter what.
If girls avoided sleazy men, you know what will also happen? They will try and figure out what girls actually like and respond to. Sure it won't be the same for everyone but it will make a difference if toxic masculinity was actually a deterrent.
You know what women actually respond to in the real world? Status, confidence, being one of the boys, ie being part of a group that seems important/dominant in some way, money. And what do women detest in many cases? Being unimportant/meek, nerdy, short, etc
Toxic masculinity often revolves around acquiring the things that makes men attractive to women, and women do respond to it. If women were taught to look past their impulses it would make a difference to change behaviour
