Hi all,

In this community we have not banned reposts, but discouraged them to help keep the community fresh. However, we are revisiting this policy. Sometimes reposts can be meaningful and timely, and we want to acknowledge that. So as mods, we are reaching out to you all to hear your opinion. What should our policy be? No reposts whatsoever, or allowing them if relevant and timely, or as many reposts as you like! Comment with your thoughts!

Here are a couple articles that live rent free in my head and I'll be tempted to repost: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Erfurt_latrine_disaster

I'm pro reposts, I hadn't seen two of those articles you have mentioned in the post.

XKCD's 10000 rule definitely applies.

Just because it was posted before doesn't mean it was seen.

Constantly reposting is just spam though, which (I assume) is already banned.
