Could have sworn I saw some articles saying it’d get better in 2027. Let’s see how long it lasts before we see “it’ll be bad through 2028”. This is going to become the new “Due to higher than normal call volumes…”
I don't recall ever reading that. From what I remember, it was always "It'll be bad until at least 2027"
They were related. Micron (IIRC) was going to spin up additional capacity in late 2027. The additional supply, assuming constant demand, should (at least in theory) lower prices.
