Well, I stand corrected. It's probably usually still true. From my own experience, I replied to about 20 odd that every time they texted me again I would donate money to , and every single one texted me again with no comment on my threat. I was bluffing of course, but they had no way to know that. I figured that made sense anyway, the process was automated mass texting, why would they bother making a way to read the responses?
oh yeah I figured the same.
You know looking into it now out of curiosity, it sounds like there's auto dialer laws and they can send SMS without express consent as long as a human initiated the text. So they send messages by hand I guess, then probably have machines handle the STOP stuff
