Its an absolutely garbage service and needs to no longer exist. All food delivery services like this are trash and I refuse to use them. And ridicule/shame everyone that does.
I disagree, it can be invaluable for disabled people, but this service is very badly paid and that's obviously bullshit.
There was a local delivery service that charges businesses a flat service fee instead of 70% of the order.
It didn’t survive ofc.
how else are you supposed to deliver food to a friend in a different city/state without telling them?
You do realize you could still call a location and ask them to deliver it? God I'm old.
The vast majority of restaurants no longer have their own delivery capacity
And most never did
Cabs literally filled this role lol
Uh maybe if you give the guy like 50€ to bother bringing you food after work instead of going straight home, can't imagine they'd do it for much less after a hard day of work?
that only works on significantly less funny restaurants
