Lawyers working for the Met police told a detective who had been raped by a colleague that she could not have severe trauma because she was only attacked once.

The implication that a victim of rape cannot possibly also be responsible, directly or indirectly, for the perpetration of rape culture is just as foolishly absolutist as you claim the phrase to be.

I mean, probably? Police systems pretty universally force cops to act like bastards in certain situations (anything to do with labor, for one), but we can't know what she personally did.
