Tech stocks crash — and so do data center loans

Big brain tech dude got yet another clueless take over at HackerNews etc? Here's the place to vent. Orange site, VC foolishness, all welcome.
This is not debate club. Unless it’s amusing debate.

Utterly ridiculous people who are now getting the wake up to reality they deserve
I wonder since when do tech CEOs of all people think antimasking was a problem.
Or are they running out of republicans to fool so they need to get people closer to the other end of the spectrum on board?
I think the tech sector in general was always pro-masking, and pro-lockdown/isolation because it was an enormous boost to their entire sector to have everyone shut indoors and reliant on their products to work from home and do other normal stuff.
Idk, the rightwing types seem quite present in the tech ceo roster, and a bunch of tech companies deal with surveillance - and their direct interest is masking not being seen as something normal people do, but reserved exclusively for criminals.
I recall the Zoom guy, at least, wanting everyone back at the office. For reasons, no doubt.
Since when do the mostly-republican leaning tech CEOs feel antimasking was a problem?
They're mostly-money leaning. Republicans were more lenient on the tech sector for the last few years and have friendlier tax policies for rich people always. There have been times when they were trying to strangle both tech companies and the Internet in general, back then tech companies supported dems more.
a much better comparason would be to those that objected to the industrial revolution, in that they had a point but we are probably going to ignore it and make it irrelevant.
How does someone object to ‘the industrial revolution’? Do they just sort of shake their fist vaguely at society as a whole?
Thats part of the myth around the luddites, even if they in reality was more like a preunion work force bloc
