Is this like when they ask CEOs about their 'mammoth' working days up at 5am etc when they count stuff normal people wouldn't like going to the gym, and lunch and travel time and so on.
I saw a comment on another platform saying this could be the budget of someone who eats out every night and doesn't count that spending as groceries.
The article quotes where he pretty much says he never cooks and just buys all his food ready to eat.
His weekly supermarket shop seems to be breakfast food and occasionally something for lunch.
The only outstanding question is whether he has McDonald's every night or if he's eating at restaurants.
More importantly, do we care either way?
How else will we know if he's a normal everyday New Zealander?
