Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

Anyone can make the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So, how’s it going?

Kids all went with their grandmother for the day so we are getting so many jobs done! Still haven't got to the lawn yet, but we can see the carpet so I know we are making progress.

On a related point, anyone got tips on removing hundreds of stickers from a polished wooden floor?

Saturate with de-solv-it, then scrap with a blunt butter knife?

Oh, I didn't know about de-solv-it! Thanks, I'll check it out.

Hair dryer or heat gun to loosen the glue might work? Or just cover it with a huge rug

I can peel one off easy enough, the issue is the volume. I don't want to pick them off one by one.

Huge rug sounds good 😆

Luckily we relegate all art to one corner, so the rug is feasible!

Maybe a paint scraper or one of those you use on a windshield? I'd be worried about scratching the floor though. Rug is definitely easier!

Oh the plastic windscreen scraper sounds like a good idea!
