I've been streaming it from my PC onto my deck with Moonlight and love it as a handheld game. That said, being able to run in natively is more appealing, what kind of framerate are you getting on the Deck?
I’ll report back next time I play tomorrow but I honestly have never run into anything bad stutter wise even in large battles. Runs very well in native SteamOS. Probably have put over 100 hours into it on the deck.
I’m getting solid 60 fps with low-medium settings and FSR 2.
I have my game locked to 40 fps, using medium settings with FSR set to performance. I get about 3 hours of battery life (if I don’t sit in towns too long). Switching to balanced or quality FSR is also an option, I just use performance for battery life.
I tried streaming over wifi and it was a mess in my house. I'm going to install cables through my house to hopefully get this working. (It was already planned since the house is a terrible design for wifi, but it's a bit of a higher priority now.)
I really want to have a Steam-deck-like experience, but I don't game enough to warrant dropping that much cash on a dedicated device.
Or maybe I'll just work some overtime and get a Steamdeck, lol.
