The truth about linux having 15% market share in India.

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Linux is a family of open source Unix-like operating systems based on the Linux kernel, an operating system kernel first released on September 17, 1991 by Linus Torvalds. Linux is typically packaged in a Linux distribution (or distro for short).
Distributions include the Linux kernel and supporting system software and libraries, many of which are provided by the GNU Project. Many Linux distributions use the word "Linux" in their name, but the Free Software Foundation uses the name GNU/Linux to emphasize the importance of GNU software, causing some controversy.

Most people on MacOS only use a web browser. Most people on Windows only use a web browser. Its nothing to be ashamed of.
Yeah, but most people on windows don't exclusively use a web browser. Content creation and gaming are two of windows biggest uses.
No. Office work is windows biggest use.
Having difficulty finding any sources for what people use windows for, but considering it has over 90% of the gaming market and gamers account for about half the population, I'd certainly say that one of windows main (note:not top) uses is gaming.
No it doesn't have 90% of the gaming market. I believe the biggest share of gaming is on mobile and then there is a big chunk split between ps5, Xbox, switch. Windows has 90%+ of the PC gaming market which is small in comparison to how many computers are used for office work.
You are correct, I was basically asleep when I made that comment, oof
No one said it was shameful?
He is trying to discredit the stat just because most of the use is opening a web browser. That's a fine use for an operating system and just as valid.
