Why is the first paragraph repeated? Written by AI?

Data errors connected to a federal system used by End Homelessness Winnipeg have led to a significant overestimation of the number of people experiencing homelessness in the city, an internal organizational memo obtained by CBC News says.

Revised data shows 436 people were experiencing chronic homelessness at the end of March, instead of about 4,400, as the organization previously reported, the two-page document says.

If the electric wheelchair is limited to walking speed I agree with that. If you have a disabled person on an electric scooter that hits 15-20Kmh, stick to the road.

I think this is great news. E-anything don't belong on sidewalks.

Desired isn't the same thing as important.

A more relevant number, to me, would be to track if self checkouts are decreasing.

At my home depot, all of the checkouts are self serve with an employee overseer if you have problems. If HD decides to open a 'manned' checkout counter, does that make the self checkout a failure? I dont see it that way.

When you give your device over to a tech support department, it is on them to tell the customer of potential security issues with the customers data. To me, it's no different then accessing a customer's glove box when you are servicing their car. If it doesn't pertain to the work order, it's none of your business.

The tech is supposed to be the expert. He/her should be guiding the customer so they don't expose themselves. This is not a 'dumb customer ' story. It's a 'incompetent tech' story for not asking the right questions or providing the right guidance. Former tech guy.

I need to map network shares from my Synology NAS and also from a Win11 Pro desktop. There are just so many variations on how to do this. All I need to do is map drive letters to shares on startup so they are always available.

Sorry for the noob question.

I don't understand why they just don't charge AI data centers higher costs for electricity, so they are a net benefit to the area.
