Never be bored. Your life will be more joyful if you do a lot of activities and your brain is always active and doing something

Oh I just use official jellyfin or findroid

Because of the implication

Sometimes it's labeled as girlfriend or boyfriend, maybe even husband and wife

Bro we lost global leadership in AI so what are you saying

I'm currently using Ultrasonic, it's ok. On desktop, I love Feishin

I think typically it's between 15-25 mph. But honestly, in my area, people don't even follow that

School zones are like 25mph aren't they?

You can't attack my goat Hasan like this bruh. He's an epic political commentator

For some background info, I've been climbing and belaying top rope for about 2 years, at the moment, I'm practicing lead belaying and prefer the ATC over the grigri when I belay because of the least friction when taking and giving slack.

I've researched the giga jul and mammut smart 2.0 but see too many cons from the community from those two.

I would like to use the giga jul because of the versatility, however on thicker ropes, many people report issues, seeing as how I will do a lot of belaying with indoor gym ropes, this is a serious disadvantage, but the advantage that it has for multipitching and abseiling sounds amazing.

I would need this belay to be auto locking because of gym rules.

I want to expose my services publicly on my own domain name, how would you guys do that?

I have seen people using Cloudflare, but I don't want to use Cloudflare out of principle. I have also seen stuff on caddy and frp that I've done some rough researching.

What do you guys do?

AMAZON AMAZON AMAZON (lemmy.dbzer0.com)
submitted 1 month ago* (last edited 1 month ago) by pineapplelover@lemmy.dbzer0.com to c/goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

Did you buy it on Amazon? Can I buy this on Amazon? Can I find this on Amazon?

One of my many hobbies is archery, and at the range, there's this new guy who asked me if he could find some archery stuff on Amazon, because apparently that's the only place he buys stuff from.

One week he's shooting this recurve bow that seems improperly sized for him, then he comes back another week with a compound bow and complains about the draw length being too short. I tell this guy to go to an actual archery website to buy decent equipment since the combined cost of all his current shitty equipment will cover a decent beginner recurve and some additional accessories. He tells me, '"if I can shoot on shitty bows then I can shoot on anything", after that, an arrow bounces off the target and we found out the arrow tip is poorly glued on.

Any of the numerous hobbies I take part in, you don't buy this shit on Amazon. Machined pens, specific airsoft components, balisongs, rock climbing equipment, scuba diving gear, even little fucking resistors on electrical equipment you don't buy on Amazon.

The combination of the easy one place shop for everything and ignorant people will kill people one of these days.

Key takeaway is that I ask all of you in any hobby groups to direct newbies towards places where they can get started in a way where they're not getting garbage equipment that will end up costing them or hurting themselves (and others)

Watching some videos on YouTube about protests in my region and I have a suspicion these comment sections are just filled with fake people.
