True but also, people are stupid/ easily confused and have a lot of trouble figuring out what you mean unless you use the "As In" description.

Sucks but it's true. I've been trying to de-microsoft my household for over a year now. My partner won't switch away from Windows, despite how fucking bad 11 is, and we're still paying for office 365, even though I haven't used MS office on a non-company computer for about 15 years at this point.
I haven't had anything sony in decades. Everything I got from them was overpriced trash that broke under very meager circumstances.
Next on my chopping block is Google. Once the my phone is paid off, I'm switching to Graphene. Currently trying out open street maps, and trying to spin up my own email server so I can ditch my Gmail account.
